Not quite full moon

This shot was taken without a tripod at full zoom.  The image stabiliser on the SX1 is amazing.

    Wow, that IS amazing! Is the photo cropped down at all to get this size? I'd be interested to see what the camera could do with a tripod and a longer exposure...

    Yes, the picture was cropped because Picasa downsizes all pictures to 1600x1200. Since the surrounding is all black anyway, I decided to crop the best bit.
