Ants and Baking Soda

Many sources on the Internet say ants do not like baking soda and that if they eat it, they will die.

So what on earth are these ants doing in my box of baking soda?????

I guess there is no surprise that there are dead ants lying around since they got to the baking soda.  I do hope they will clear out of the power board they infested.  It looks like they have taken some baking soda inside the power board too.

Kookaburra Close Up.

There are a lot of wild birds at this house of ours but in the 10+ years I have been staying here,  I have never seen a Kookaburra sit on the kitchen window ledge like this before.

That is one brave kookaburra!  When I put my finger close to the glass it tried to eat my finger.
